The Lobster

“An unconventional love story...”

David (Colin Farrell) is a newly single architect who checks into The Hotel with a dog that used to be his brother. Under the laws of The City, he has forty-five days to find a partner or be turned into an animal and released into The Woods. Yorgos Lanthimos has the guests discuss this in flat, polite voices over their meals, and David, who has picked the lobster, goes on looking for someone he can fake it with.
