The Locket

On the morning of her wedding to Dr. Harry Blair (Brian Aherne), Nancy (Laraine Day) is told by a stranger that the bride is not who she seems. John Brahm builds the story from flashbacks nested inside flashbacks, each man in her past remembering a different Nancy, among them Norman Clyde (Robert Mitchum). Through all of them she stays composed, a woman whose face gives away nothing about the secret behind it.
