The Lonely Guy

“Meet Larry Hubbard …lonely guy”

Larry (Steve Martin) writes for a greeting card company, and he comes home one evening to find his girlfriend in bed with another man. He goes looking for company in a city that doesn't seem to have any to spare, and finds a fellow drifter in Warren (Charles Grodin). Arthur Hiller directs it from a script credited to Ed. Weinberger, Stan Daniels and Neil Simon, adapted from Bruce Jay Friedman's 1978 book.
