“Dare to dream”

JB Peña (Jay Hernandez) works the Texas fairways in 1957 as a caddie, and he wants his Mexican-American crew of teenagers to play the game they carry bags for. The country club where they work bars them from the course, so they dig a one-hole course of their own in the fields, with help from the club's Frank Mitchell (Dennis Quaid). Julio Quintana tells the true story plainly and in the open, letting the boys' backyard course carry the film.
