The Long, Long Trailer

(1954)Directed by Vincente Minnelli96 minComedy, Romance
“America's No. 1 Favorites—Funnier than Ever on the Screen!”

In 1954, newlyweds Tacy (Lucille Ball) and Nicholas Collini (Desi Arnaz) buy a travel trailer to live in for their honeymoon. They hitch it up and head from California toward Colorado, and the trailer is a good deal longer than either of them planned for. Vincente Minnelli films the whole trip in bright Ansco Color, letting Ball and Arnaz pull the camera into one roadside mess after another.
