The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum

Katharina Blum (Angela Winkler) spends one night with a man she met at a party, and by the next morning the police are at her door, hunting him. Kommissar Beizmenne (Mario Adorf) questions her, while the reporter Werner Tötges (Dieter Laser) starts printing her private life in his paper. Volker Schlöndorff and Margarethe von Trotta follow a woman with no record whose name, job and reputation are all at stake.
