The Love Bug

“Herbie will honk his way into your heart.”

Jim Douglas (Dean Jones) is a race car driver whose luck has run out, and all he wants is another shot at the track. What he gets is a little Volkswagen Bug named Herbie that seems to have ideas of its own, and a rival, Peter Thorndyke (David Tomlinson), who sees how much the car is worth. Robert Stevenson keeps it light, with Jim slowly realizing he has been paired with a car that thinks for itself.
