The Love Eterne

Zhu Ying-Tai (Betty Loh Ti), a young woman in fourth-century China, talks her parents into letting her dress as a boy so she can study at a university. There she becomes close with a fellow student, Liang Shan-Bo (Ivy Ling Po), who has no idea she is anything but a classmate. Li Han-Hsiang sets their friendship to Huangmei opera songs, and Ying-Tai hides her feelings behind a borrowed name, wanting him to know her and afraid of what that would cost.
