The Loves of Hercules

In the mythic Greece of this 1960 Italian co-production, Hercules (Mickey Hargitay) sets out to avenge his wife, who was murdered at the hands of Eurito, king of Ecalia. Carlo Ludovico Bragaglia sends him toward the kingdom, where a scheming courtier is working in the background and a queen named Deianira (Jayne Mansfield) now rules. Hercules wants a killer to answer for the death, and he begins to fall in love with the woman on the throne.
