The Mafia Kills Only in Summer

“A Deadly Serious Comedy”

Arturo Giammaresi (Pif) is a boy in Palermo in 1969 who has already fallen for his classmate Flora (Cristiana Capotondi), and the feeling follows him into adulthood. Through the years that follow, up to 1992, the Mafia's killings keep landing just beside his life, and he grows into a journalist who covers the judges and policemen who stood against it. Pif, a television satirist making his first feature, plays the whole thing as a plain-spoken comedy.
