The Magnificent Seven

“They were seven…and they fought like seven hundred!”

The farmers of a poor Mexican village want their harvests left alone, and the only help they can afford is hired guns. Chris Adams (Yul Brynner) takes the job and gathers six others, among them Vin (Steve McQueen) and Bernardo O'Reilly (Charles Bronson), for wages that barely cover a meal. John Sturges sends them against Calvera (Eli Wallach) and his bandits, with the whole village and seven lives resting on it.
