“A Glove Story”

Hillary Kramer (Barbra Streisand) has lost her fortune and wants some of it back. All she has left is a washed-out boxer, Eddie "Kid Natural" Scanlon (Ryan O'Neal), who came to her as a tax loss, and she decides to get him back in the ring. Howard Zieff directs the two as a pair who bicker constantly, with Eddie dead set against the idea and Hillary refusing to hear it.
