The Majestic
“Sometimes your life comes into focus one frame at a time.”
In 1951, Hollywood screenwriter Peter Appleton (Jim Carrey) is suspected of being a communist when his car goes off a bridge and he wakes up with no memory. The townspeople of a small town take him in and mistake him for a local son who went missing in the war. Frank Darabont puts Peter in front of Harry Trimble (Martin Landau), a father who has been waiting years for a boy to come home, and the whole town is watching.
