The Man from Laramie

“The man you'll never forget!”

Somebody has been selling rifles to the Apache, and Will Lockhart (James Stewart) rides into the isolated New Mexico town of Coronado to find out who. He gets pulled into the affairs of the Waggomans, a ranching family led by the aging Alec (Donald Crisp), whose men all seem to have a secret to hide. Anthony Mann sets the story in wide, dry country and lets the silences between these people carry as much as the dialogue.
