The Man from Nowhere

“Nothing to lose, nothing to compromise.”

Cha Tae-sik (Won Bin) runs a pawnshop in a cramped Seoul neighborhood, keeps the lights low, and speaks to almost no one except So-mi (Kim Sae-ron), the young girl next door. When a criminal organization kidnaps her, he goes after them alone, and Lee Jeong-beom stages that rampage as a brutal crime thriller. Under the violence is a plain fact: a man who has shut himself away is pulled back into the world by one child.
