The Man in the Moon

“Remember when you couldn't wait for your life to begin... and then, one day, it did?”

Dani Trant (Reese Witherspoon) is fourteen and wants her first kiss, and the boy next door, Court Foster (Jason London), looks like the one to give it. Then Court meets her older sister Maureen (Emily Warfield), and the summer tilts toward her instead. Robert Mulligan follows Dani as she learns what it costs to love someone who has fallen for the person closest to her.
