The Man Who Cheated Himself

Lt. Ed Cullen (Lee J. Cobb) has worked homicide in San Francisco long enough to run a scene without thinking, and he is seeing Lois Frazer (Jane Wyatt), a wealthy woman with a husband at home. Then Lois shoots that husband, and Ed hears about it before anyone else does. Felix E. Feist hands the case to Ed's brother Andy (John Dall), a new detective who wants to impress him, and Ed has to watch him work.
