The Man Who Feels No Pain

Surya (Abhimanyu Dasani) grows up in a small Indian town with congenital analgesia, a rare condition that means he cannot feel pain, and a grandfather (Mahesh Manjrekar) who watches over him. He teaches himself to fight from old martial arts films, his hero a one-legged master named Karate Mani. Vasan Bala sends him out to prove it, and Surya keeps getting up, grinning, convinced a fighter who never hurts can never lose.
