The Man Who Knew Too Much

Bob Lawrence (Leslie Banks) only wants to keep his holiday in St. Moritz going and his daughter within sight. Then a stranger dies in front of him, passing along a clue about a planned assassination, and his daughter is taken so that he and his wife Jill (Edna Best) will stay quiet. Hitchcock puts a couple who have never dealt with anything worse than a lost ski pole against people who will do whatever it takes, and a child's life rides on what they decide to say.
