The Man Who Sued God

Steve Myers (Billy Connolly) quit practising law out of frustration and now makes his living as a fisherman, with a boat as his one piece of property. Lightning destroys it, and the insurer refuses to pay, calling the strike an act of God. Mark Joffe follows Steve back into the courts, where he sues the insurance company and the Church as God's representative, with his livelihood and his standing at stake.
