Dr. Leon Kravaal (Boris Karloff) wants to cure cancer, and his method is to freeze the patient. When authorities decide he has killed one of his subjects, he freezes the officials along with himself. Years later, Dr. Tim Mason (Roger Pryor) finds them, and Nick Grindé sets the work of reviving them against the cost of finishing Kravaal's cure.
