“Evil does not die… It waits to be re-born!”

A lump appears on the back of Karen Tandy's (Susan Strasberg) neck in San Francisco, and it keeps getting bigger, faster than any tumor should. Her friend Harry Erskine (Tony Curtis), a fortune-teller, is the first to suspect the cause is not medical, and the trail leads to the medicine man John Singing Rock (Michael Ansara). William Girdler, who died in a helicopter accident before the film was released, directed it as his last feature.
