The Manual of Love

Tommaso (Silvio Muccino) is young and in love for the first time, and he wants it to last. Giovanni Veronesi splits the film into four chapters, each following a different stage of a relationship, with Goffredo (Carlo Verdone), Ornella (Luciana Littizzetto), Marco (Sergio Rubini) and Barbara (Margherita Buy) among the people moving through them. Love keeps changing shape from one chapter to the next, and the characters are never quite ready for the version they get.
