The Marco Effect

A homeless Romani boy is arrested at the Danish border carrying the passport of a public servant who has gone missing. Inspector Carl Mørck (Ulrich Thomsen) and his Department Q partner Hafez el-Assad (Zaki Youssef) are handed the job of finding what links the two. Martin Zandvliet makes this a story about who gets looked for when they vanish, and who gets looked past.
