“"Shaddup!"”

Florrie Keefer (Judy Holliday) sits in a divorce court beside her husband Chet (Aldo Ray), and neither of them can say how things came to this. Judge Anne B. Carroll (Madge Kennedy) asks them to go back through the good years before she signs anything, and George Cukor lets each memory play out in full. It is a story about two ordinary people trying to find the marriage they thought they were making.
