The Mask
“Look through the mask...if you can't take it...take it off!”
A young archaeologist, convinced a mask has cursed him with nightmares and the urge to kill, mails it to his psychiatrist, Doctor Allan Barnes (Paul Stevens), before taking his own life. Barnes puts the mask on and drops into a dream world that no longer feels like his own. Julian Roffman made the film in 3-D, pushing the nightmare sequences out toward the audience.
