The Mask of Zorro

“No one has seen his face... but everyone... knows this mark.”

Twenty years after the Spanish took his freedom, his wife and his daughter, Don Diego de la Vega (Anthony Hopkins) breaks out of prison in Alta California. He finds a troubled young bandit, Alejandro Murrieta (Antonio Banderas), and begins training him to take over the name of Zorro, with Don Rafael Montero (Stuart Wilson) as the target. Martin Campbell sets it in the same dry California, where a man in a black mask is again being taught to fight.
