The Mask of Zorro

“No one has seen his face... but everyone ... knows this mark.”

Don Diego de la Vega (Anthony Hopkins), the aging original Zorro, escapes prison to avenge his wife's death at the hands of the corrupt governor Rafael Montero (Stuart Wilson). He recruits a passionate young thief, Alejandro Murrieta (Antonio Banderas), to become the new Zorro, training him in swordplay. Martin Campbell sets the action spinning across moonlit California, all sword-flash and horse-gallop.
