The Masseurs and a Woman

Two blind masseurs, Toku (Shin Tokudaiji) and Fukuichi (Shinichi Himori), walk the road to a remote mountain resort where a city woman, Michiho (Mieko Takamine), has also arrived. Hiroshi Shimizu follows their paths as they cross with a lonely man and his ill-behaved nephew, each pair circling the others. Every small meeting puts at risk the one thing these people are hungry for, a person to talk to.
