The Master and Margarita
A stranger calling himself a professor (August Diehl as Woland) arrives in 1930s Moscow with a strange entourage, among them a wisecracking trickster (Yuri Kolokolnikov as Korovyev) and a giant talking black cat, and the city begins to come apart. Michael Lockshin adapts Bulgakov's novel. The Master (Evgeny Tsyganov) is a writer with nothing left, and Margarita (Yuliya Snigir) refuses to give him up.
