The Mean Season

“A time between summer... and murder.”

A murder gets a reporter's attention, and then the killer starts calling him. Malcolm Anderson (Kurt Russell) is the journalist on the story, and the man behind it picks him as his personal spokesman, feeding him clues. Phillip Borsos keeps Malcolm on the phone and at his desk while the calls multiply, and with Christine Connelly (Mariel Hemingway) in his life, the cost of staying on the story starts to reach people he cares about.
