The Meddler

Marnie Minervini (Susan Sarandon) has moved from New Jersey to an apartment near the Grove in Los Angeles, carrying a new iPhone and the money her late husband left her. She texts her screenwriter daughter Lori (Rose Byrne) constantly, shows up uninvited, and hands out advice nobody asked for. Lorene Scafaria's film is about a woman with a lot of love and nowhere to put it.
