The Meteor Man

“Get meteorized. Take a stand.”

Jefferson Reed (Robert Townsend) is a mild-mannered teacher in Washington, D.C., until a chunk of meteor hits him in the chest one night. He can fly, though he's afraid of heights, and he can absorb the contents of any book, for about thirty seconds. Townsend writes and directs, and his neighbors, led by Mrs. Reed (Marla Gibbs), ask the most reluctant superhero around to take on the Golden Lords, the gang terrorizing their block.
