The Mexican

“Love with the safety off.”

Jerry (Brad Pitt) is a low-level mob bagman, and his boss sends him south of the border to retrieve a priceless antique pistol called "the Mexican." Gore Verbinski sends him off with a bad car and worse luck, while back home his girlfriend Samantha (Julia Roberts) has told him to quit the mob or lose her. Jerry wants to stay alive, and Samantha wants him out of that life, and neither plans to wait.
