The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)

Danny Meyerowitz (Adam Sandler) arrives in New York with his daughter and moves back in with his father, Harold (Dustin Hoffman), a sculptor who still expects to be listened to. Danny's siblings, Matthew (Ben Stiller) and Jean (Elizabeth Marvel), come as well, because a gallery is putting on a show of Harold's work. Noah Baumbach lets the family talk over one another, cutting between them in short scenes that feel like pieces of one long argument.
