The Mighty Ducks

“They can't skate. They can't win. They can't be serious.”

Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) is a Minnesota lawyer who cuts corners until a drunk driving arrest hands him community service: coaching a youth hockey team nobody expects to win. He used to play, and he wants no part of the ice again, least of all with his old coach Jack Reilly (Lane Smith) still around. Stephen Herek puts Gordon in front of a pack of kids who need a coach, and the two sides slowly start to rely on each other.
