“Keep your eyes open for anything too ordinary.”

All Vann Siegert (Owen Wilson) wants is to be taken for whoever the people he meets need him to be. He drifts into a small town, easy and pleasant, and takes a room with Doug (Brian Cox) and Jane (Mercedes Ruehl). Hampton Fancher watches him settle in while locals begin to vanish, and the whole place goes quiet around the smiling boarder.
