The Miracle of the Sargasso Sea

Elisabeth (Angeliki Papoulia), a policewoman, wants out of the narrow-minded town in western Greece where she has ended up. Rita (Youla Boudali) works at an eel hatchery and is just as lonely, trying to get clear of the trouble that keeps finding her. Syllas Tzoumerkas follows the two women until a circle of violence breaks over the town, and Elisabeth keeps looking for a way out.
