The Miracle Worker

Anne Sullivan (Alison Elliott) arrives at the Keller household as a teacher for Helen (Hallie Eisenberg), a girl who is deaf, blind and mute and has never been taught a single rule. Nadia Tass, adapting William Gibson's play, puts the two of them in a long contest over table manners and fingerspelled words. Helen's small hand sits open in Anne's palm, waiting for the next letter.
