The Misfits

(1961)Directed by John Huston124 minDrama, Romance, Western
“It shouts and sings with life ... explodes with love!”

Roslyn Taber (Marilyn Monroe) has come to Nevada for a divorce, and nobody around her can quite say why she stays once it's done. Two men take her home to Guido's half-finished desert house, Gay Langland (Clark Gable) and Guido (Eli Wallach), and then Perce Howland (Montgomery Clift) rides in off the rodeo circuit. John Huston gathers all four around a plan to catch wild horses, and the money they need from it is the only thing holding the arrangement together.
