The Mist
“Fear changes everything.”
A storm rolls through a small Maine town, and the next morning a mist comes down so thick that people vanish a few steps from the door. David Drayton (Thomas Jane) is stuck in the grocery store with his five-year-old son, a crowd of neighbors, and Mrs. Carmody (Marcia Gay Harden), who starts talking about God. Frank Darabont keeps the whole film inside those fluorescent aisles, so the fear has nowhere to go but into the people.
