The Mole People

“...a savage civilization a million years old, raging with blood-lusting fury!”

Archaeologists led by Dr. Roger Bentley (John Agar) climb a mountain in Mesopotamia and find ruins of a Sumerian civilization, five thousand years old, living under a glacier. Virgil W. Vogel sends Bentley and Dr. Jud Bellamin (Hugh Beaumont) down into the cold dark, toward the High Priest Elinu (Alan Napier) and a people who have never seen the sun. Bentley came for buried pottery and tablets, and he now has to keep alive the very thing he set out to study.
