The Money Pit

“For everyone who's ever been deeply in love or deeply in debt.”

Evicted from their Manhattan apartment, Walter Fielding, Jr. (Tom Hanks) and Anna Crowley (Shelley Long) find a rambling mansion that seems too cheap to be real. Richard Benjamin follows them through the closing and the move-in, as the house starts coming apart and the money drains out of their accounts. Whatever else goes missing, even the kitchen sink, what's really at stake is whether the two of them stay together.
