“The legend has arrived”

A stick-wielding monkey wants to live forever, and nobody can tell him how, so he sets out to find the answer himself. Along the way he picks up a young girl, Lin (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport), and runs into the Dragon King (Bowen Yang) and a long line of demons. Anthony Stacchi's film, adapted from the first chapters of Journey to the West, follows Monkey King (Jimmy O. Yang) as he learns that wanting to be great is not the same as being good.
