The Monkey's Uncle

“More fun than a barrel of teenagers!”

Merlin Jones (Tommy Kirk), a college whiz kid, rigs up a sleep-learning system and tries it on a chimpanzee named Stanley, who also happens to be his legal nephew. He then builds a man-powered airplane of his own design, with his girlfriend Jennifer (Annette Funicello) close by. Robert Stevenson sends Merlin's inventions across the campus, and Merlin keeps going, sure that the next idea will work.
