The Monster

A killer is loose, and the police have settled on Loris (Roberto Benigni), a gardener and shop-window dresser who keeps getting caught in compromised situations, each with a perfectly innocent explanation nobody stays to hear. Undercover officer Jessica (Nicoletta Braschi) is sent to watch him on the orders of the eccentric police psychologist Taccone (Michel Blanc). Benigni directs himself as a man so ordinary and so harmless that he cannot stop looking guilty.
