A stranger bites the horror writer R. Chetwynd-Hayes (John Carradine) on the street, then feels bad enough about it to invite him to a club nearby. Eramus (Vincent Price) is the vampire host, and the place is crowded with creatures of the night, with musical acts between rounds. Roy Ward Baker puts the two men at a table while Eramus tells his stories, the old vampire and the writer who writes about monsters sharing a drink.
