The Motorcycle Diaries

“Let the world change you...and you can change the world.”

In 1952, two friends set out from Argentina to cross South America on one battered motorcycle. Ernesto "Che" Guevara de la Serna (Gael García Bernal) is a medical student, and Alberto Granado (Rodrigo de la Serna) is a biochemist who talks the trip into being. Walter Salles follows them toward the poor and the sick along the road, and the picture ends on Bernal's face, still and sun-bleached.
