The Mountain Between Us

“What if your life depended on a stranger?”

Dr. Ben Bass (Idris Elba) is a surgeon and Alex Martin (Kate Winslet) a journalist, strangers who each need to get off the same flight and end up on a chartered plane that goes down in the High Uintas Wilderness. Hany Abu-Assad leaves them with their injuries, a dog, and a snowbound mountain with no rescue coming. They have to cross hundreds of miles of wilderness together, and the only person who can keep either one alive is the other.
