The Mouse That Roared

“They're taking over the country in an invasion of laughs!”

The tiny Duchy of Grand Fenwick is broke, and its leaders settle on a plan: declare war on the United States, lose quickly, and collect the foreign aid. Peter Sellers plays three roles, including the Duchess Gloriana XII and Tully Bascombe, who leads the invasion in chain mail with a company of archers. Jack Arnold sends them to New York during a nuclear drill, and if the plan goes wrong, Grand Fenwick has nothing left to fall back on.
