The Moustache

Marc Thiriez (Vincent Lindon) has worn the same moustache his whole adult life, and one day on a whim he shaves it off, then waits for his wife Agnès (Emmanuelle Devos) to remark on it. She says nothing, and neither do his friends. When he finally points it out, they all tell him he never had one, and Emmanuel Carrère builds the film on what happens to a man whose own memory is the only evidence he has left.
